Until recent years, I'd always dreaded LA's traffic, smog, and superficial entertainment culture, but the more friends I have who move there, the more I discover the city's appeal: warm, sunny weather; deliciously fresh, inventive food; sleek modern architecture; and lots of wide open space that fosters a strong creative culture. But enough with the words, here are a few photos from my trip there this weekend.
