SYZYGY // AUTUMN/WINTER 2016

Celestial geometry — the movement of heavenly bodies through space and time — formed the genesis of Titania Inglis’s Autumn 2016 collection, Syzygy. With plunging V necklines, angled hems, leather strap details echoing planetary orbits, and a rich color palette of deep burgundy, charcoal gray, mauve, and moss green, the collection represents the designer’s continuing maturation: at once darker, more luxe, and yet more wearable than ever.

The lushly textural materials for the new collection include sheared Icelandic sheepskin, dead stock melton coating, hand-washed, veg-tanned Italian lambskin, and a silky Japanese cupro twill upcycled from the cotton linter. Long, sleek bias dresses are topped off with boxy yet flatteringly draped jackets, and a collaboration with jewelry line K/LLER Collection furnished sharp brass adornments for zippers and dangling from Titania’s signature ultra-slim straps.
